Crashes we handle
Types of car crashes we handle
From a rear-end collision on Central Expressway to a multi-car pileup on I-30, we know how these claims work — and how insurers try to shrink them.
Rear-end collisions
Often cause whiplash and back injuries that insurers like to downplay.
T-bone & intersection crashes
Red-light runners and failure-to-yield cases.
Head-on collisions
Among the most serious crashes, often on two-lane and rural roads.
Highway & multi-car pileups
Several drivers, several insurers — we sort out who pays.
Sideswipes & lane changes
Blind-spot and merging crashes on busy DFW freeways.
Rollovers
Including crashes involving defective tires or vehicles.

Do I need a lawyer after a car accident in Texas?
Not always. If nobody was hurt and the damage is minor, you may handle it yourself. But talk to a lawyer if any of these apply:
You were injured, needed the ER or are still in pain
You missed work or can’t do your normal job
The insurer is delaying, denying or offering very little
Fault is disputed, or more than one driver was involved
The other driver had no insurance or not enough
A free case review will tell you whether a lawyer can make a real difference in your claim.
What causes most car accidents in Texas?
Most crashes we see trace back to a driver’s choice: texting or phone use, speeding, following too closely, running a red light, drunk or drugged driving, or drowsy driving. Proving that choice is how we prove fault. We use the crash report, photos, witness statements, phone records, vehicle data and video.
Who is at fault? Texas’s 51% rule
Texas is an at-fault state. The driver who caused the crash, and their insurer, pays for the harm. Texas also uses proportionate responsibility:
If you were 50% or less at fault, you can still recover. Your amount is reduced by your share.
If you were 51% or more at fault, you can’t recover from the other driver.
Insurers know this rule well. They often try to push more blame onto you to cut what they owe. We push back with evidence.
How much is my car accident case worth?
There’s no fixed formula. Value depends on how badly you were hurt, your medical bills and future care, the wages you lost, how clear fault is and how much insurance is available. That’s why we never guess on a first call. We gather your records and build the full number before talking settlement.
Texas car accident rules to know
Two-year deadline
Most injury lawsuits must be filed within two years of the crash.
Personal injury protection (PIP)
Your own policy may pay medical bills and lost wages no matter who caused the wreck, unless you rejected it in writing.
Uninsured/underinsured motorist (UM/UIM)
If the at-fault driver has no insurance or too little, your own UM/UIM coverage may pay.
Government vehicles
If a city, county or state vehicle hit you, written notice may be due within months.
